Reducing emissions through sustainable biogas and biomethane production

The Brazilian Waste Energy Recovery Association (Abren) is partnering with the European Union to boost the production and sustainable use of biogas and biomethane and reduce methane emissions in the agricultural and urban waste sector.

The initiative, called the EU-Brazil Dialogue, will be led by the EU Climate Dialogues (EUCDs) project and will receive funding from the European Union. Abren will be responsible for implementing the project.
