IFAT began its history in 1966 in Munich, Germany, and today is recognized as the world’s leading fair for environmental technologies. There are currently more than 8 IFATs around the world, a total of 11 leading events in the portfolio, totaling a worldwide representation with visitors from more than 155 different countries and exhibitors from more than 59 nationalities. In 2024, the largest environmental technology network in the world expanded its portfolio to add existing initiatives and leverage the environmental technology market in Latin America, with the launch of IFAT Brasil.
