IFAT began its history in 1966 in Munich, Germany, and today is recognized as the world’s leading fair for environmental technologies. There are currently more than 8 IFATs around the world, a total of 11 leading events in the portfolio, totaling a worldwide representation with visitors from more than 155 different countries and exhibitors from more than 59 nationalities. In 2024, the largest environmental technology network in the world expanded its portfolio to add existing initiatives and leverage the environmental technology market in Latin America, with the launch of IFAT Brasil.
IFAT Brasil Congress
The IFAT Brasil Congress makes a substantial contribution to technological exchange and professional improvement, emphasizing the importance of the market and business related to environmental technologies in Brazil and around the world. With a comprehensive selection of more than 15 panels during the three days of the fair, the program will be marked by the presence of major players, such as BNDES (National Bank for Economic and Social Development), ANA (National Water and Basic Sanitation Agency), ABREN (Brazilian Waste Energy Recovery Association), Isle Utilities, German Water Partnership, among other national and international partners that seek to respond to the current demands for growth and sustainable development in the sector, promoting improved quality and specialized knowledge for professionals working in the entire industry.
